OK, I promised myself I was gonna do this, so here goes:

I'm 5'5", and 155 lbs. Doc said target weight is 127-142, so I'm aiming for 135 (when I was in the Corps).

May the diets begin!

good morning everyone.....hope you all had a great weekend!.rayna........so glad to see you are so into this, fay.keep excited!,dolphin and fury..so glad you are with us!......ryan...i'd like to give you a few suggestions but they are things that all of us can benefit from........1)..eating when you're hungry....not good!.....your body will think you are starving it and will hold onto everything as fat!.......spread your meals out throughout the day......and most important.eat breakfast......suggestion: small bowl of bran cereal with 1% milk, a hard boiled egg, and a fruit and WATER!.ryan.you mention you ate a sandwich but did not say what kind of bread you used.......suggestion; pita bread.....wishing everyone a good day and will check back here later..today is my day to weigh in at the Diet Center....wish me luck!

fury....i think it depends on what chart you look at....i think the most important thing is to feel comfortable about yourself at the weight you are at........156lbs sounds pretty good for your height.....

Well, my BMI says I'm overweight (close to obese EEK!) so here's to healthy eating!

(And raking my yard IS exercise, right?)

Dang it, to late to edit my last post...

I, too, am 5'5" and like i said before, my goal weight is 127-142, and I have a medium frame. Hope this helps Fury.

Actually, Crystal Light has too many chemicals for me... I'm allergic to it. I drink Green Tea off and on... sometimes use Splenda (though they are finding problems with it too...)

OK just to prove my point about weight/measurements and not going too overboard on charts:

I weighed today (for you guys) 190 #
I'm 5'8"
waist is 30.5"
Size 14.

See? You couldn't possibly guess I weigh that much!

Goal is back to a size 9 or so.

I ate a fat free pudding for BREAKing the fast.

Grilled chicken with lemon, green beans with garlic, salad with olive oil (lettuce, tomato, onion, olives). Ate 1/2 at restaurant, brought other half home to have tonight. (I have to have something at night before bed, or the night is worse and mornings impossible.)

So today's workout was chest, abs, and 30 minutes on my cross trainer. I'm pooped. I miss my old workouts. I'll get there though.

Don't often eat fruit (as it's not on the menu!) Ryan, imho you might want to shoot for 200# by the holidays. That would be a loss of 50... and allow a little leeway for gain in those muscles you're building! If you do more, then kewl.
