From time to time I get a very, very sharp quick pain in my left tempol. I have always attributed it to eye strain, which it probably is. Then there are the time where it will hit and drop me to my knees. Then it leaves as quickly as it comes. I know that this is where shoet term memory conversion takes place. Anyone have a simular experince or know of someone who has? Thank You

Weathered, I have seen where this is attributed to a few different things, like a switch in DID, or a prodrome for a migraine. You can always call and ask your doctor about it, or put it on your list of things to mention whenever you do go see your MD.

I suggest you let your doctor know, always good to do so. Sounds like you might be having ice pick headaches: http://headaches.about.com/od/otherh.../ice_picks.htm

Sometimes in those who have Dissociative Identity Disorder, when another aspect (part) wishes to take time (come out ) there might be a headache to the one who is already "out." It's called a "switch" ...when one aspect takes over from another.
