I went for my follow up (hospital stay for 4 days due to a partically blocked bowel and adhesions from prior surgeries)....and was told "I'm good to go" for the next 100 years. Not really told that, but that is my way of saying it.

I just have to be away of getting fiber fiber fiber and oh yea, more fiber and a lot water in my diet. If I start to get blocked up again, just have to do clear liquids and add more Miralax and enemas and Milk of Magnesia - "whatever it takes" to keep me going poo.....I just have a colon that is 'handi-capped'!

But I'm going for a nice long walk today since the sun is shinning and we are having an great Indian Summer. Than it is work in the garden/yard!

YEAH.
Thanks for this!

I worked in the garden for 4 hours yesterday, not so much after my 3 mile walk on Wednesday... But I so enjoyed listening to my Zune and the sun!

I'm going to walk the 3 miles as soon as I sign off here and get a diet Coke at my local McDonald's and then come back to
the garden project.

I just love this late November Indian Summer we are having.

Love the sun and 65-70 degree temps.

Glad you'd doing better and the crisis is over. I eat popcorn three or four times a week, less oil/salt versions so they're healthier. It's whole grain and lots of fiber and a real struggle to eat since I love it and find it nice and filling and that it requires a drink (water) to help with the dry, slight saltiness.

Thanks p.

My system is finally starting to work better. I'm up to about 30 grams of fiber a day!

I bought the healthy version of popcorn last week. Ididn't dare to eat any until my colon was feeling up to it though.

I think this week will be a good time for me to give it a try. I think I got the one that comes in the pre measured 100 calorie bags. I'm also drinking lots more water

I'm still doing a good job with "going". Whoa! Thanks for all your kind thoughts and words gang.

And yesterday I cut back just a little on the fiber tablets. We'll see what happens.
