Hahahahahahaha, I actually bought an erotic dancing instruction tape a long time ago. Weight loss thread part deux The group of women in it is really diverse. One lady had had a double mastectomy without getting implants afterwards and wanted to be able to feel sexy again.

Carmen Electra has a series of striptease workouts now, too.

I've spent an arm and a leg on videos and equipment over the years. I'm sticking to the trampoline from now on. I've run out of room in my house for any more contraptions. Weight loss thread part deux

Angie, I feel like I've hit a plateau too. That unrestricted eating Wednesday through Saturday didn't help any either. I think it's time for me to increase the exercise.

WHOA! Not sure about ^^^^all that.

lol

I do know that the key ingredient in aerobic exercise it breathing! That there are those who do ONLY breathing exercises to keep weight down. That it's the loaded cells of oxygen that cause them to work properly.

Weight bearing exercise does help the bones, and builds muscle faster (which in turn burn more calories) but I've to go the breathing route I think....Weight loss thread part deux

I've not been doing too well on the whole diet thing. I really need to stick to a plan instead of making things up as I go along.

I'm going to try to go back on my SlimFast diet starting tomorrow. I'll post what I eat here again. I'm hoping to lose 15 pounds by middle of May. I'm really going to have to work hard at this and combine exercise with the diet. I have a social function to attend in May and I want to be thin. I'm hoping to lose 2 pounds/week. Yes, that is what I'm going to do. I have incentive. It's going to be tough, but I'm going to do it, starting right now.

Today is day 0

Day 1

Breakfast: Weight loss shake

Lunch: 2 mini pizzas (I got really hungry, next time I'll eat a yogurt or something 2 hours after my shake)

Dinner: 1 cup rice, chicken breast, broccoli

Tomorrow I'm going to snack more so I don't over eat at lunch or dinner.

I didn't exercise today, I have a lot of studying to do for tomorrow's midterm.

Sorry but a diet of less than 1000 calories only damages your body...and isn't going to help you maintain the weight lose you might have. Two pounds a week is a good goal, but eating more healthy food will be best, eat small amounts every two hours (eat something every 2 - 3 hours) and that will keep your body revved up, metabolism running high because it's burning the "constant" food...

by not eating your body goes into starvation mode and STORES practically EVERYTHING, because it doesn't "know" if it's going to get fed in the future.

Have you tried a nutritionist for guidance? Many adults are having trouble with losing weight because they didn't know what I just wrote "back then." Please be smart on this. TC of yourself.

It feels good good Sky. :-) I'm not really restricting any types of foods though. I'm mostly counting calories. I hope it's working too. :-)

My aunt is giving me her exercise bike today. I'm going to put it in front of the television and ride it while watching TV.

Day 4

1 yogurt 50
6 peanut M&Ms 100??
1 bag mini popcorn 190
------------------------------------
340 kcal

I am currently 600 calories under what the site wi_fit posted says I need to have to have "extreme fat loss". Yay me! Tomorrow I need to eat better though. Today wasn't so hot vegetable wise, but I did make some good choices.

I've been really lenient lately, so I haven't lost any more weight, but I haven't gained any either. I haven't exercised at all for the last month. Weight loss thread part deux

Wow, 600 calories below extreme weight loss! Are you sure it's safe?

I don't think I can manage extreme weight loss. According to that calculator, I have to eat 904 kcal a day for extreme weight loss! I don't think it's possible for me to lose my desired 2 pounds per week without some serious restricting.

This is all due to the fact that I'm starting out with a relatively low weight, 113 pounds. I'm only 4'11''.

When you have as much weight to lose as I do, eating below the number of calories that thing says isn't hard. My doctor would flip if I told I was going to stick to a 1500 calorie/day diet. I would literally put my body into that starvation mode _Sky has mentioned.

I'm trying to be more concious of what I eat, how many calories are in what I eat and if I feel the food is "worth" those calories, I'm trying to exercise some (as opposed to not trying before), and I'm watching food labels more - which I never used to do.

My goal isn't total weight loss - it's all about improving my health.

Also, according to that site you should not use the "extreme weight loss" count if you have between 2-25 pounds to lose. That's not extreme. I have whole persons to lose. Weight loss thread part deux

That sounds like a good plan! Weight loss thread part deux I used to drink a lot of juice and soda pop, but now I don't. I choose diet now whenever I can.

I should get healthier too. I could probably do away with the M&Ms.

I find that I cannot lose any weight when I'm just trying to eat healthier. I have to actually count my calories. My body likes to stay at the same weight.

I'm trying to get healthier by exercising more. My aunt gave me her more than 20 year old exercise bike and now I'm going to ride it whenever I watch television.
