I start medication tomorrow. I am so pleased. Maybe I will finally start to feel physically well again. (And stop gaining weight for no reason).

Good luck Sabrina.
It should definitely help with the weight gain and fatigue, and then maybe you'll have more oomph to deal with your son when he's being a real rascal. ![]()

hum i suffer from hypothyroidism also since i was 15 do u get really cold on ur hands and feet and they don't warm up as much as u try socks blankets etc.. i get so cold my muscles cramp up ouch

I can relate to this post...diagnosed with HT a couple years ago, and they put me on meds for it. Now if I gain weight, I know it's from my love of chocolate and cheetos..lol!

Cold is definitely a side effect of HT. I am lucky that this is one that hardly effects me (during the summer anyway). I do relate to cold feet though.
