Hello,
I am new to this site, with my previous posting listed under depression, trying to find meaning to my evolving physical conditions. Over the past few months to almost the past year and a half, my physical health conditions have been advancing at a rampid rate to almost complete mobility limitation. I am having a hard time trying to isolate the most sevior physical element from other multiple linguring elements. Which ones do I stress with more importance to the doc., and which ones do I not mention at all. Most of the time or overall this is my problem, trying to figure out what to/not mention to the doc. My medical condition since early childhood has been RA and currently debitable Lupus. Thanks for any advis on what to stress or not mention.

Why don't you make a chart, list every illness and discomfort you have, then rate each one, say, on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the worst? Then you can hand it to your doctor, so s/he can see how you're doing and what needs attention, and what doesn't.

Being a sufferer of RA myself and since age the young age of 12, like you - I would have to say that most of your present medical conditions are probably being brought on by the RA.... when the arthritis flares up it totally defunks the entire body, from the liver to the heart (and some).

I would talk to you doctor about all of your problems up front (make a list) and then you can narrow the list down at his (and your) highest concerns.

Good Luck....

I think making a list, or a chart to plot how your symptoms change could be useful... but overall imo, while it might be good to know which malady is causing which symptom..it really doesn't matter much to me... my depression and ptsd mix in with my myelopathy and other nerve pain... trying to differentiate what causes which only frustrates me. I hope it won't you.
