I was just put on synthroid, and am wondering what experiences people have had with it. This is the second day I have taken it and within a few hours of takin it have gotten a terrible headache. I need advice....it is going to be a long weekend.

Hi Dar,
Mine doesn't cause me to have headaches. Did you eat something when you took it? It's the only thing I know to suggest. I hope you feel better really soon. Hugs, Jan

It says to take it on an empty stomache.
It could also be the heat, but then why would it start right after I stared taking the meds. I still have a headache now, almost 12hours later....probally not a good thing either, 'cause now i have to go to work. Dar |

Dar, call your Dr and tell him/her what happened. You can't keep taking something that makes your head hurt.
