I’ve been eating massive amounts of chips and coke. Yet I’ve barely eaten anything else since I’m so full from the chips. So my caloric intake is anywhere from 1, 165 to 1,240.
I’m losing weight, but I’m getitng an awful stomach ache from eating this way. I’m also drinking a lot of fluids. Mainly water. I’ve also been kind of moody, but it’s not work related. Work has been going fine. If it’s not work, like it usually is, I’m assuming it’s my diet. Does this sound like diabetes? I do have high blood sugar, and I have a very strong family history of diabetes. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m just not really hungry. So eating junk food is the easiest way for me to get some kind of calorie intake. |

If you think you may have diabetes then get yourself tested and find out if you do or you don't.

The werid thing is, today my mom said her stomach hurt and she couldn’t eat much of anything either.
So I’m wondering if we had some sort of bug or something. I was tested for diabetes last year. My blood sugar is high, but not high enough to be considered diabetic. I don’t know how fast you can develop diabetes after testing negative for it. I’ll have to ask my doctor if I’m pre diabetic. I’m not sure what to do about my high blood sugar. I’m only slightly overweight. And if losing a lot of weight didn’t lower it, I have no idea what else I can do. My dad pretty much died from it. It was attacking all his organs and my mom was diagnosed a couple years ago. I’m at a loss really. |

I tend to feel physically unwell when I don't have balance in nutritional intake. Empty calories alone can cause malaise.

A low carb diet and Fung Fasting will help prevent or even cure diabetes. Look up Dr. Jason Fung podcasts with Jimmy Moore.
He had YouTube videos and a website too. He is a nephrologist (kidney doc). |

After my first heart attack — and first open-heart surgery — I was told that I might have diabetes and I was to test my glucose several times daily. It was sometimes high, low, or normal.
Six years later I started developing neuropathy in my feet. I’m offering this as a cautionary tale; you don’t want to get where I am now. Chips and Cokes are not a diet. I’m too far gone to be salvaged but I try to eat well, still. Again. You don’t want to be where I am now.

Alright. I admitted to myself tonight that I’m taking care of my physical health horribly.
I lie to myself that because I’m not really overweight, that my mental health is basically fine and that I work a lot, that I’m fine. But my physical health might take a toll if I don’t take care of myself. I have high blood pressure and I’m only in my 20’s. I had high cholesterol a couple years ago. I just really need to take better care of myself. Based on a lifetime of stress and anxiety, my lifestyle, and my family history, I can see myself dying of a heart attack at age 40. |

I’m glad that you admitted to yourself that you need to change your diet.
