I put off telling my doctor information about a skin change and now many years later, it has changed.

I am going tomorrow, but I think it is way too late.

The doctors never listen to me. They laugh all these years and never bother to investigate things. Like I told two doctors about the skin thing. They did look at it for like one or two minutes and just said oh it is probably nothing, wash better.

I am so pissed at them. They could have took a skin sample or a test on the area. I am young. I am 46. I have a 17 year old.

I have the specialist appointment.

Really bad things don't change that slowly. I have a large mole that I don't like that I always ask whatever doctor I come in contact with (whether mine or my husband's :-) and get the same answer, probably nothing. If they look at it for a bit and then decide it is probably nothing, then it's at least probably nothing serious. I have asked dermatologists about mine and also a surgeon removing "things" from my husband's shoulder, tiny things (mine isn't tiny).

There are all kinds of skin diseases that are just problems with "coloring" or things that require staying out of the sun or using a cream, etc. My girlfriend has one of those.
