I've discovered why whenever i exercise, my muscles are booming to go, not worn out or anything, yet my chest cramps up and i can hardly breathe.

turns out that's the effect of my heart condition.
i had rheumatic fever a few years ago and have a heart murmur to this day.
greeeaat.

not fair! i like exercise.
ah well. bit more evidence that life's a *****.

Sorry to hear about your heart murmur. Isn't that something? When we are ready to exercize we find out we can't. I think maybe walking might be something you can
try.

I myself need to lose a lot of weight, of course I have plenty of excuses, although I just realized I will be having lab work done in a couple of weeks. Yikes!!!

On that note, wishing you well.
