I have a bad coffee and soda habit. I've tried giving it up a few times but the caffeine withdrawels made me angry and anxious. So I found some caffeine pills on Walmarts app tonight. It has the same amount as a cup of coffee and is for people 12 and up.

Will this help kick the soda and coffee habit?
I also heard caffeine pills can help you focus and are a slight appetite suppresant.

You should try and figure out how much caffeine you have been taking daily, and slowly cut back. I would use the pills if your getting some side effects from cold turkey.

I am surprised your not getting headaches?
I was abusing way to much coffee after my TBI. Between fighting high blood pressure and just to much caffeine I cut back to only 2 cups in the morning and nothing else all day.

I took one 2 hours ago and I guess its working. I did have a bottle of soda I found in the fridge and a large Coke zero from Wendys. My anxiety is fine

I had been drinking 6-7 cans of soda a day and maybe an iced coffee too.

Caffeine usually IS the coffee and soda habit. 99.9% of the time people are “addicted to coffee” its they’re addicted to caffeine. That’s why people that want to quit “the habit” go to decaf, not literal pills of pure caffeine. Like going to non alcoholic beers instead of Everclear.

But if it’s the price and acidic stomachaches you want to quit, yeah, good replacement.

Why is it a bad idea?

My anxiety has been fine all day and I've gotten a lot done and I haven't felt like I'm crashing at all. I had a couple small Diet Cokes but I felt like things went good. I also wasn't sick at all.
