I saw my doc this morning for the results of my bloodwork he had done on me before he went on vacation and my Vitamin D level is low. It is at a 15 and I guess its supposed to be at a 30 and so I have to take a supplement for the next 2 months. I take it once a week and then go back and have it retested. I'm not sure how this happened as I'm pretty serious about taking my vitamins and drinking my milk. I don't stay out in the sun as much as I should so maybe that's it. But other that than not being outside I take my calcium with D and drink my fortified skim milk so I thought my D level should be ok but was wrong. Good thing I thought to have him check it. He told me it could be the source of a lot of the problems I'm having so hopefully the supplement helps.
