Hello, I receive Supplemental Security Income for disability and used to get the max, but a little while ago I moved in with my, now recently ex partner, which made my benefits decrease slightly of course. But now that my living situation has changed and my expenses have gone/are going up (currently staying in motels, and looking for/need a place to rent) I just want to know if my benefits should increase and go back up or not because I really need as much as possible with all the trouble I'm having finding a place... Thank you.

I’d think if you live alone and unable to work, you should have more benefits than if you share rent. Could you contact SSI office and ask? I’d also inquire about section 8 housing
