I know how that can be What do we

we hold around 30,000 gallons of mineral oil,it can burn in a diesel engine, not to mention hundreds of tranformers moved with forklifts and sitting around the yards full of oil

probably the most risk of explosion though is while jet arcing the tops off of pad mounted transformers that have gone bad, since a gas builds up that exnites and makes them explode like a bomb, if they are not purged first with nitrogen

tell me more about the most resent random tourist town trip, that sounds interesting

lol..coral,the thing tha came to my mind when reading your post, is this terminology we men use so casually.... ripping, tearing, knocking..... i do it to...

its easy to forget how sensitive some can be.. the words we use are forceful, strong, controlling...

no judgments, just observation....ive really known some ppl that are trigged by such terms.... for good cause too... even tho you and i know how it was intended.... and i do consider those ppl... ive felt like i could explain us a little better, and they would relax and lose some fear....

but, not that we are the only gender, but, some terminolgy i really rather forceful and we are conditioned so that we give it no thought whatever...

i remeber a guy i knew several years back... a youngster, about 18 yrs old...

ok, i was in jail at the time.... minor stuff... learned my lessons... but, here was this kid...

rahter large, about 6'4" .. 300 lbs... sweet as could be and ... well, not totally connected to himself if you know what i mean...

i asked him what he was in for? .. his answer? he knocked his mother over the head with a hammer...

i wonder what 'hammering' and 'knocking' means to her these days...

whats challenging for me at work coral, with the propane, is that in your 'yard' it sounds like a gated and controlled area... only employees allowed? with proper training in safety i would assume (tho i know how that goes also) ...

for me, its an open area where anyone can drive up and do anything... ive actually had some people think the Propane tank was a huge air tank even tho in BIG RED letters, it clearly says 'PROPANE...

they dont understand gas clouds... they dont even understand there's oxygen in propane...

all i think they understand is propane = food... for some, its heat...

but, what gets me is the way some companys have tried to make very dangerous products consumer friendly without proper education

it keeps me on edge, in a good way... i tell people about the cautions...

sometimes they ask questions and it kinda bugs me that while im answering they walk away like they already know the answers and were only making an attempt at small talk.. so, i just tell them i have to pay attention to the job .. no time for distractions..

many understand, some are offended.. ive spent many years studying the mind of the 'average consumer' ..

i will probably have more to add...

im just really thankful for those who take time to consider serious risk..

havent taken any out of town trips lately, but i feel one coming soon What do we

take care Coral What do we

i could use a trip... gotta fix the vans shock issues first... one thing at a time i guess.... weather warming, so, good times to come....

yeah, sometimes im cleaning around the lot, i find cig butts around the pumps.... that gets me....

Sunday a guy came walking towards me ... had a cig and i was at the pumps so i took his arm and motioned that we move away.... i told him the cig was kinda a prob.... he knocked the cherry to the cement and tossed the butt down....

i told him that wasnt a very good way to put the cig out... he asked me where the labor ready was...

i pointed him down the street, and he started walking away, so did i... then, i heard him say something i couldnt understand cause the wind started blowing just then, so i started walking back to him and he was asking me if i had a problem with him...

i said 'no', i just have a prob with cigs near the pumps....

he kept looking at me like it was personal, i kept looking at him like i didnt want cigs around the pumps.....

he turned and started going towards labor ready....

yay.... i wonder if he got the message?

coral, for those of us who are hard core cigarette addicts, all we really want to do is smoke. Every second of everyday until we're dead.

LOL, I don't have any problem with people who smoke, I used to smoke weed everyday, when I got up that was the first thing I did before coffee ....... I actually went a long period without it, then slipped a little recently, most of my side of the family (mother, father cousins etc) smoke it, and I have been around smokers my whole life

so no judgment here What do we

I just never seen the point of smokin, if it didn't get me buzzed, I try not to smoke it though for obvious reasons and try to avoid being around it, but if I am hangin out with people that do, its hard not to take a few hits socialy ........... I quess I just need to try harder, I didn't go get a bag or nothin but, was at a little party and got a buzz, while listening to, Copper Head Road, my favorite song

My dad was that way until he lost his right lung to lung cancer, and luckily has been in remission of cancer for a bunch of years now...

ok... i dont know if im ready for a convo on cancer myself.. for one thing, its my sun sign... but, i know that not where this was going....

coral said something about smoking marijuana..... i have some friends who do... they're good people....

marijuana is legal in my home state for medical purposes... you get a permit and grow your own... not that i have or anything...

in Denver, the city itself, not the outlying communities, a law was passed allowing personal possession up to one ounce of marijuana..... its hard to support because Fed laws still have precedence....

as for tobacco... well.... i found some non tobacco cigs and gave them a try... taste and smell great, especially with a cup of hot mint tea....

alright.. is tea manly? oh well..... take care guys...

half ounce or less here is just a misdemeanor, as personal possesion, no court or nothin, just send in the ticket and payment like a traffic violation

I'm absolutely terrified of getting cancer. I worry about it constantly. So you'd think that would be enough to get me to quit smoking, right? Nope. I've tried many times and I keep going back.

They really need rehab for smoking. Complete lockdown in an institution for 17 days or whatever. I would totally sign up.
