What do you want to talk about?

Ever notice how boring Dennis Rodman is. The guy does some weird things, and dresses strangely, but ever heard him talk? Boring.

I think the better question is to you Ruby, where have you been hiding??! You have been a member for over a year and have only 25 posts. Look at Shakespeare a member for about two months and he has already close to 500. Why all the sudden coming out of the woodwork? Whats been holding you back for so long? Is it stopping in to read only all this time and now the interest in writing back? I am almost certain the entertainment will begin right here very soon as there are quite a few of very entertaining individuals who frequent this forum. Btw I am only here as a study, I suffer with no issues only self created to make this more fun. I am as right as rain so to speak!!! See now that's fun.... Welcome to this place and it's a pleasure to have you here.

Your profile says you suffer from borderline personality disorder. Why are you here?

It's nice to meet you though anyway.

To be fair the reason I don't have NPD on my list of diagnoses is because when I first joined it was so quiet in this forum I was scared of being judged. Besides it's not NPD it's traits dammit. (Also there's only enough room for so many diagnoses. One needs to pick the most pertinent.)

NPD is a scary diagnosis. The stigma of BPD can be bad but most people haven't heard of it where as every man and his dog "knows narcissism is bad."

Now I don't because I feel that if I were to change it people would just think I was trying too hard to fit in. (I'm also still fairly certain it's wrong? I dunno. Am having a totally borderline crisis of identity right now lol Still definitely think pdoc is an a*hat though.)

Incidentally that is an opinion I hold of some people I have seen here.

I agree. When I first heard of NPD, I thought to myself... "this T is calling me an A-hole".

But, it does sound like the MH community is coming around and admitting there is more to people with NPD traits then just problem causing A-holes that everyone should stay away from. The way I see it, we've developed a defense mechanism that works.... it has got us this far, so, it's hard to let go.

I find that what helps me is to actually deal with and talk/write about the trauma that caused me to develop these traits.

You talking smack about my name again?

I know I need to change it but you only get one change and what if I pick one and then decide I don't like it?

I'm chronically indecisive. These things actually scare me. This is why I like being a sheep lol

And BeteNoire is kinda nice as long as you ignore the meaning.
