I take my temperature every now and then and it usually runs somewhere between 97.8F and 98.8F. However, a number of times over the years I have gone to the clinic or hospital and the nurse said it was 99F or even 100F. Today I went to the ER and it was 100F. I took my temperature about 5 times today while at home and it was within the normal range so I asked the nurse what could cause my temperature to be so high and she said that anxiety can cause that. Has anyone else here noticed a difference in temperature at home vs the clinic/hospital?.

I have never noticed a change in temp, but my heart rate goes wacky when at the doctor.
This is coming from a woman who overheats with a simple cough or work.

No Grey I have not but I think it might depend on several factors. Sometimes you might appear to feel hotter due to clothing your wearing or maybe that you have just been exerting yourself. Sometimes you may be wearing less cloths and appear to have a lower temp. I dont know. Just a thought
