Well we all have problems with remembering things from time to time, I seem to have a particular problem with it. I was hoping for some tips and techniques on remembering things I need to, I have figured one out that works, but its very impractical and distracting. Any help an tips would be great.

I'm sure it'll help more than just me.

Thanks.

LOL!!!! LOL!!!!

I absolutely love the title of this thread!!!!

AAAAaaaauuuuuggggggghhhhhhh............

I'm sorry, what were we talking about....?

Seriously though, remembering can be problematic as forgetfulness runs rampant. Some things I have done is get some fun post-it notes, and things I want to remember, I stick them to my front door, or on my fridge, or sometimes even on my TV screen.

Sometimes I have troubles remembering to take my meds, or I can't remember if I took them one day or not. For this, I get myself a seven day pill holder and I set my cell phone alarm to go off each day at the same time and I take my meds. Sometimes, I'll even call and leave myself a voicemail, or send myself an email if it's something that I need to remember for a couple days out.

Well, I hope these help!!

Take care!!

I write lists for everything. I don't know any other way that helps me.

My technique that isn't practical but is the only one that I know short of putting post it notes on my face is just thinking about what I need to remember until I do it. which if I get distracted means I can forget it anyway.

i guess it depends on the sorts of things forget. i have a diary where i list everything i need to do on that day, and it helps a lot because then i dont have to keep repeating everything to myself over and over (which gets tiring, and leads to more forgetfulness!).

but there are some things where writing in a diary won't work (e.g., i often leave my uni notes on the train because i forget to take them with me). so now i have a bigger bag so i dont need to carry them separately.

what sorts of things do you forget, hawks?

Birthday's, events, I don't really remember anything of my life. I have only little bits and pieces of memory, I can't remember big events like weddings or anything from my past. I remember only still photograph like moments from the past. Sometimes I can read something or need to remember something and I will forget it in 1 or 2 minutes or I can remember it for a year, although that doesn't happen often.
