So I go talk to the social worker, which was GREAT, but I'm afraid I talk too much and don't let anything in.

When do you get to a point where you're all talked out and you can finally listen to what people can do for you, the reason you got together in the first place?

I'm planning on going to a group next week. The kids say I never socialize and don't have any friends. Long story why not. So, I'm going to tell the kids we're going some place where I can meet some other people and they can hang out with other kids and play games or do art projects and stuff.

I'm a bit nervous about doing it. Admitting that Hey, my life isn't perfect and I can't deal with it and it's hard being a single mom and battling with my ex all the time about how the kids should be raised. But I'm probably more relieved that I can finally say the same things and not be told it's all in my head and to just deal with it.

The weather is absolutely gorgeous now. I have 4 hours to squeeze in 8 hours of work if I want to hang out with the kids as soon as they get home. Prolly noooot gonna happen. LOL

Thing is, all the really important stuff still needs to stay above it, so how could it be moved up and not displace something that takes precedence?

Highly hijackable thread. Have fun with it everybody.

Okay, LMO, your mother in law sounds like a hand full. fury, what do you mean your friend might "do something" If that something is what I suspect then he ain't no friend. If my mind is in the usual gutter I live in accept my apolgies. Well, my day is posted elsewhere but here is some humor. Last night I put the puppy out the back door as I caught him a piddling on the floor. Hubby and I had to get up in the middle of the night to drive to the hospital so we went to bed early and I asked my daughter to let the baby in. I heard her call and call for him and she couldn't find him so we went out for at least an hour in the wet grass and woods and along the road to try to find my baby. Baby was hiding under my bed cause he thought he was in trouble. BRAT. good brat. I love my doggies and they make me smile.

My new gym stuff RULES. I'm sore as can be and it's great. I love it. Time to get rid of this gut.
