Good job on getting to class Silver!! This is a nice thread to read and appreciate what little (and big) things we are able to do.

Today I <ul type="square">[*]went to therapy[*]safely retrieved my dog from her escape[*]did dishes, cleaned kitchen, put air dried dishes away (all within same day....not usual)[*]made and ate breakfast[*]took medications on time[*]filled the green cart again for organic yard waste recycling[*]have finished half of my intended gardening (for now) and have hopes to finish the other half by the wknd[*]am enjoying being in my yard once again after reclaiming it from winter and spring neglect[*]planted strawberries which only get sweeter each year they produce[*]will be going to my class and working on a large project that I wouldn't have thought possible only a year ago[/list]

What have you accomplished today?

I didn't do much since I'm still sick. I went back to Urgent Care. I moved one chair over to let a couple sit together! That's it, haha! I kept in touch with my supervisor to let her know how things are going, and I picked up 3 more prescriptions and I took them! I'm bad about taking medicine, but I'm getting desperate.

Great post!

Rayna

Fantastic post! I love reading all of the accounts of the positive things folks did today. Thanks silver_queen!

My best stuff today:

Designed a kickin' poster to advertise my $20.00 script writing and storyboard drawing contest at the Boys and Girls Club. We've been shooting low res video of some of the teens skateboarding (badly). The teens are very excited about filming and editing the digital videos.

Watched funny movie clips that my friend Jonathon had saved on his laptop.

Talked about plans for explosive liquid nitrogen stunts on the lawn of the museum with one of the guys from Exhibits.

Made it (just in time) for my zoology lecture. The test is on Friday and I really have to cram. Chordates, and Arthropods, and Echinoderms, oh my!

Read three chapters from John Gottman's book "The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work". (Great book, by the way) Bought a gardenia plant for my wife.

Ripped Bill Evans "A Simple Matter of Conviction" to my laptop. (it features Paul Motian on drums -- he's my new favorite drummer after Tony Williams.)

What have you accomplished today? sorry for writing so much. Thanks again silver_queen for the great thread. What have you accomplished today? What have you accomplished today?
