I start the new job tomorrow. I imagine the first day won't be too bad. I can hear everybody now asking me where I live, how long does it take to drive, etc. I'll laugh and be like, um...
 I don't care if they know that I live in my car, but I don't know how comfortable they would feel with the information. I don't think they would see me as bad or anything, I just don't think they would know how to react. Probably better to just humor them as I usually do with people I meet and just give the name of the town where I spend most my time. But then there are some people who ask do I rent or is it a 1 or 2 bedroom and so on. Then I have to do more creative thinking. I have to figure out what I will do for lunch while I am at work yet. I might get a salad and take that in for tomorrow, then see what they have available for a microwave and supplies. Hope I like this job and it goes well.

Hey Inky just tell them you own your home (car), and it is a 1 bedroom

OMG, what to wear?! Yes, clothes! But which ones?! Okay, I better get unpacking and pick something out ahead of time. But I know that I will get to the shower in the morning and think I wish I had something else. Gawd do I need a walk-in closet and full-length mirror right now!
  Library is about to close so I have to go anyway. Maybe I can chat with some of you tonight on AIM. Screen name is inknblot!

I snuck an email from my cell phone to my caseworker at the shelter to request a wakeup call! It was soooooo boring today. It finally picked up the last half hour when the one person training me was leaving for the day and said I could spend the last half hour looking around on the computer and "playing" with the programs we use. Amazingly, they were able to get my computer and phone logon all set up today. I figured that might take a couple days, but nope, they are quick. I haven't filled out any employee forms yet, like for taxes, direct deposit, etc. They will probably wait til the last minute on those, huh? Anyway, I'll be back there tomorrow. Don't know what I'll be doing yet, but I should be able to at least log on my computer now.
