Amazing Online Friendships

It is truly amazing how the eviction fund was filled up so quickly. So many caring people contributed so much to a "family" member whom they never met. The power of online friendships surpasses what I have experienced in real life for quite some time. I have greatly missed that feeling. My life at Psych Central helps to fill that void I would so love to physically touch with open arms in a warm hug, a sharing of a river of tears, or encouraging conversation.

Reading all of your posts, my brothers and sisters, wanting to help me in my own situation is bound to make me cry. I can feel your sincerity and love for others deep in my heart. I have received so much from you already. I can't begin to express how my fondness for you all as my friends has grown in recent weeks. I can't ask for more from you, because how you already make me feel can not be improved on. Reading your compassionate thoughts and comments enhances my life to beyond your dreams. I greatly appreciate what you already do for me, and thank you for being you. DocJohn, you have a remarkable kindness, and I am so glad to be a part of your family.

It is really nice here, isn't it? The strongest support that I receive, at any given time, comes from PC...because I open up here and I don't IRL....I trust people here. xoxox pat

My sentiments exactly. I couldn't have said it any better Inky. I don't know what I would do without my online friendships. People in my 'real' life don't 'get it' but I think they are the ones that are losers because online friendships are just as real to me as if y'all were right here next to me in the flesh. I second everything...I am overwhelmed. Just finished reading about the eviction....this is such an amazing feeling to be connected to you all!!!!!!!!!

I mean cars are nice but I don't want to live in mine.. wait.. yes sometimes I do threaten that to the T... just to not be entwined in all this stuff. But I digress... yes friendships online are good. Aren't you afraid that meeting us in person might burst that bubble? I am. i think that's why I try not to ask even if someone's male or female... let it just "be"...
