Been thinking a lot since my appt. yesterday...

and a lot of reading and all of that. Mainly, some serious soul searching. The former p-doc is, was and forever be a ___________ (use your imagination). He can't help it, it's just the way that he is. After all the headaches and opinions, and what I know to be true about me, past and present, I think that maybe, just maybe, the t is right, and the old p-doc is right. Maybe they are both half right... maybe I'm both? Bipolar and BPD? In any case, the new p-doc's office is in the process of scheduling me, and that schedule includes testing, to finally get some answers.

Is there anyone out there who is both? I just need to talk!

IMO (and sometimes IMPO) I think BPD is a "trash can" dx. Not that the symptoms aren't real, for I do indeed believe there is suffering... I think that "professionals" are too afraid, or unaware of what is going on and the "insurance companies" need a dx at all costs... Yes, they always test. Don't worry about it, "just" be who you are and be done with it. ((hugs))
