How about member search? With my bad memory, I sometimes have trouble remembering exactly the screen name of people.

I'm all for the Teen forum and rumpus room. I for one would not feel awkward posting to a teen thread, and am guilty of needing to goof off every once in a while.

Maybe make the Rumpus Room a forum AND a chat room? That way people who want to get silly with other members can do so in chat.

i would LOVE, absolutely Suggestions for Change LOVE Suggestions for Change a small members' personal web pages section.

I'm amazed we have free space to upload HUGE photos, THANK YOU. But, I would love to create a small, creative bio here for me. I have a personal webpage located elsewhere but posting it here reduces anonymity. I love clicking on people's usernames and seeing small bios they've created, with photos, art, poetry, links, and etc. I prefer not to leave the domain to view these creative pages. I'd be willing to donate money, if needed.

By listing all members here do you mean that there would not be an option to be invisible or do you mean a large list of all the members somewhere?

i just mean a large list somewhere, and only those that have been active in the last 90 or so...otherwise the list would be too large to view!

Cool, i like that idea! I agree so often ill want to PM someone and forget their full name and have to hunt down one of their posts. It would be easier that way.

Wait I think there should me a forum for religion not to go against some where along the lines. Dicuusing about the meaning of lifes biggest questions and I never found a forum that dicuss it like RE. But you should make some rules to go with it and everything should be ok. Please think about it!

I'd vote to suggest that people go to other sites for religious/meaning of life discussions, and for sites with superfluous avatars/smileys, for that matter. It's not like this is the only forum on the internet and doesn't have to be completely one-stop shopping.

I'd like it if people would refrain from changing the subject line. Sometimes it takes some long, hard thinking to come up with an appropriate subject line, and then to have someone come in after 1 or 2 posts and change it, it kind of smacks of threadjacking to me, especially when it's turned into something that doesn't even resemble what the original post is regarding. It's not such a big deal if you're entering the thread from the individual forum list, because the original title is what you see, but if you're coming in from the newest reply in the Main Index, sometimes you have no clue what topic you're going into.

i second Shirley's request that folks not change the subject lines in a thread. it disrupts the rythmn of the thread and can be confusing.

Right, KD. That's not what I mean though.

I mean like another poster who just takes it upon themselves to, for example, change the name from Re: Suggestions for Change to, hmm, I don't know, something like Ha Ha Funny You Should Mention That.

One, I think it's kind of disrespectful to the topic starter, especially if it's a serious subject. Two, coming in from the Main Index, you have no idea what topic it is if the subject line has been changed radically from what the original poster started with.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
