Hello,
I have to go to a medical examination on Monday to see if I still qualify for benefits. I am extremely nervous about this and I just don't think I am going to be able to go. But if I don't go they will stop my benefit so I will have no income again. I don't know what to do about it. I can't explain to them anything about myself, talking at all to these people is very difficult. I can not prepare anything before hand either as I have no idea what questions they will ask. I recently moved due to invasive thoughts that my prior city was a governmental base. I have reason to believe these were correct. But this new city has been nothing but trouble and stress. I do have a CPN but she is on holiday and the stand in CPN won't help. They say I have to go. But I simply can not do it... Government building, lots of people, having to talk to new people, being judged and watched... it is just not going to happen. I'm becoming more and more convinced they are trying to force me to move back. Back to that city. I just don't know what to do. Has anyone been to one of these examinations? What do they ask? I can't deal with this at all. I just know they are going to cut my money again. I will become homeless and have to move back. So they can experiment more on me.

Hello, Apocryphal. Is there a friend that could go with you? Would your doctor consider giving you something to calm you? Copy your post and write out what your days are like.
Here is an article that may be useful: http://www.thedisabilityexpert.com/E...y%20Claim.html The exam is a normal procedure. At the very least, call to ask for a rescheduling. Mention your CPN is gone. Tell them how difficult it is for you to get out. Ask if the examiner could come to your place so all those people you are concerned about are not there. Good luck. |
