Hello and I missed you

Hello Everyone!!!

I have been gone for a while.....But I have certainly not forgotten you guys or this place. My new house wont be done until the end of the month so I am in a hotel with no internet......That really sucks.

My journey here to Texas has been wonderful. Very, very beautiful here. I went to the Riverwalk and it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life. Palm tree's, shops, art, resturants...so much I cant even think of it all.

The kids start school on the 22nd. I have registered all of them and it was not an easy task. They do things much differently here.

I miss my mother, mother in law and father in law so much. We do talk at least every other day so at least I have that comfort. I wish I could come here more often because there have been some times I have needed some support and havent been able to get it.

I havent yet found a T or Pdoc but I actually havent been looking. I was going to wait until I got into the house. Things seem so disorganized now that I am living out of a suitcase. LOL.

I see much has changed in the few weeks I have been gone. New faces. People I have come to care for have said goodbye. I have missed so much. I am sorry I wasnt here to help. I assure you, once I am settled, I will be back and help as much as I can.

I went to Corpus Christi last weekend and it was beautiful. The water seems much clearer and much more saltyer then what I am used to. The hubby and kids found about 13 sand dollars there with their bare feet in the sand. We were all very excited. Very, very beautiful. We all got a good sunburn and have started on our tan.

I am sorry I dont have much more to say. I am taking things one day at a time and trying to enjoy all the sights. I can even begin to tell you how beautiful things are here. Sorry....I can go on and on about the sights. I still havent seen the Alamo but I will soon.

Well on that note, I will go. I am at my sister in laws house now so I dont want to be on here to long. I will visit when I can and should be back full force in about 2-3 weeks.

I love and miss you all and cant wait to catch up.

OK, I had a reply typed and I clicked and it was sent to cyber space. So I will retype.....

I found out today that I get free local calls in my hotel room. So, I have re-configured my AOL dial up #'s and am able to get online in the room. I wish I would have know that sooner. I could have posted a long time ago. LOL. Oh well...Live and learn, right?

I really have missed you all and can not tell you how happy I am just to be back for a little while.

Texas nights are beautiful.....warm and breezy.

I was hoping to be able to go into chat but I am having a problem with it. I was able to get in earlier but then I got booted and then I couldnt get back in and still cant. I guess its the luck of the draw.

Oh yeah...One thing I have to say. They have more fast food places here then I have ever seen in my life. In fact there are fast food places here that I have never even heard of. For instance...Whataburger. I mean, I have never heard of that. I have heard of Jack in the Box but never seen one until I got here. Same with Churches chicken. I am so stupid. I feel like I have been living in my own world for so long and never have experienced life until now. Does that make sense.

Hubby didnt want to go the the Botanical Garden today. He said we will go after the kids get in school. I was disapointed but the kids do start school next Monday so that is not too bad.
