I work in a saftey sensitive job and I would NEVER tell anyone at work about my bipolal illness or meds. I feel a lot better now than before I had no meds.

I've chosen not to disclose. But I am taking a bit of strain with the pressure and workload, so I have told my HR department. We are a big firm, so it shouldn't go further than there, but I do think they will make a note in my employee file. They are prepared to tell my manager on my behalf, if I give them permission. Right now, I am not. I am sitting on the fence

I chose not to disclose but my frequent absences and yup... PC use alerted them. They coerced me to resign or face a disciplinary and dismissal. So I resigned. I am not sorry though. Sometimes I miss that career but I have been so happy working from home and my anxiety levels have dropped nicely.
