A lot of in-between details are of course missing from your other post, but from what I gather he certainly sounded threatening. *YOU* have a right to talk to the police on your own--this is happening to YOU. I don't know the legal aspects of someone's age who reports something, but nonetheless, it could be a good idea to get what happened documented with the police. I think it would also help to bring you at ease. I know how hard it is when your mom doesn't do what you think is best when it comes to potential or actual legal issues. Hang in there {{{{{{{{{{{{dpadilla89}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Deb,

A lot of people don't like to involve police in their problems. A lot of people see involving police as an extreme measure. I personally think it is a good idea.

You can call the police if you want to... maybe call the non emergency line and ask an officer what you can do, what you should do.. and whether they can help? TC

Well, I'm really sorry your mom isn't being very supportive here. I think your mom's advice is not a good one. What you need to do here is call the police yourself. I don't think there is an age limit on these things, either.

Take care and hang in there.

I agree, you call the police. This guy has physically threatened you. That's the proper course of action to take.
