lol I knows what you mean but to me its nice when folks take the time to reply even if its a hug or a sorry or heck even an I dunno ..its better than zero....some folks are afraid of saying the wrong thing so sometimes threads sit..thats sad IMO

I try to post at least a hug or post an 'I've read' message in threads that dont have any/many replies. I know how it feels to be the poster =)

I don't know, I kinda feel like I don't know people well enough to post sometimes...if it deals with a person's history. I don't know anyone here that well. *shrugs* I try, but I don't think I'm good at making friends =X

I'm trying to wait until after christmas, as I've said...when it passes we'll see if the 'pending' feeling is still there. Sometimes it will go away and take the 'break/blowup/whatever you want to call it with it. =O

Hon, just cry all you want. If you shake, shake, but get it all out and be real. I've sobbed and I've shaken to the point I couldn't even talk. I was horrified, but they realized the shape I was in and I got the help I needed. For once I let my "I'm just fine." face down and was real. Trust me, it will help you.

Many hugs,

Jan

BP Hi, I have a friend who occasionally takes the bull by the horns and checks herself in. It's like she just looses her bearings and needs a safe time out to collect her self and her thoughts. Kinda a mental vacation, no stress, no responsibilities. She can just focus on herself for a week and reset her clock. I'm of the opinon, whatever works....... Hope you make it through the holidays.
Re: responding to people's posts, I: 1) get shy attacks 2) feel funny seeing my name everywhere, like I'm hogging space, or think I know the answers or....... you know, twirl myself out and away from responding. It doesn't have to do with the poster, it has to do with me...... I guess I'm not perfect yet (haha). PS I think yer swell, take care. ))) ))BP (((( (( bumpies for you!!

Thank you {{{{Bunny}}}}

I just want to not have to break...but I don't have control over it yet. Thanks, I hope I make it through the holidays too =)

I understand, I sometimes feel the same way that by responding I know better than others, when I don't lol I try not to think that, and offer support anyway--hope you find a way past too =D

PS--3rd page! -faints- Is this a rational thought?

Hi, BP

I think it's a very smart thing you are doing, preparing yourself.

I have only had one hospitalization thusfar, but I thought the group therapy was the best part... We were blessed to have sevral EXCELLENT T's there who kept things going on the right track. I, like you, was reluctant to talk about my stuff...it didn't take long to realize that I was one of the LEAST screwed up people there, and there wasn't a whole lot I could say that would raise any eyebrows, so I dived in...it seemed like evryone sort of had her/his own "day", where that was the main topic of conversation. That wasn't by plan, it just kind of seemed that way.

Anyway, I really just wanted to send you some hugs....
(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Beautiful Pain)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Merry Christmas

Thank you Davey for the response! I hope groups go better if/when I go back. I've only had one hospitalization so far as well. =)

I think that this is certainly a rational thought. You know you need the help and you know where and how to get it. I would not suggest being one way when you are feeling that you are not that way. Just be yourself...and if yourself right now is impolite, and not a "good" patient, then be that. Do not be a way that is not true for yourself.
