ok I was not going to do this so everyone on here would see my past live about my permie I had..

But after reading this today I am very upset with many ppl..

When you have a premie.. at any hosptial, they can say you only get one hour.. Trust me I know this, but it is all up to the "MOTHER" no one else has any say in this Trust me I know..

I have been in the reverse of what Sept is going through, I had a *itch for a motherinlaw and she wanted my child to die so she could get on with her life, and not have to come up and see my daughter..

My child was born premie and only weighed 15oz she was 3 months early..
I had to make all the decsions on my own, my husband would nto do a damn thing..

I know why sept posted this message and trust me I fully understand what she is going thourgh because I had to stop all vistations because of one person and the baby was not doing well...

If a baby d-stats more than once a day, then no .. only the mother and father can go in and see the baby... It all depends on how the baby is doing and how the mother feels towards everyone.. .

If the nurses or doctors in the NICU say no only you and dad, then that is all that can go no more even less..

The best advice I can give anyone in this situtaion is call the hosptial, most NICU's have a line set up where family that can not see the baby can call and check up on the baby, if they do not have that then try calling the director of the NICU and telling them your concerns and seeing if they can set up a line while your grandchild is in the NIC unit and see what can or would be able to be done..

This is a very trying time for all ppl involved I know and feel your pain, sept.. but trust me, baby's can turn bad in a NIC unit on a dime and not come back..

I will answer any questions via pm by only you Sept ok.

love to you, and I am sorry I was so harsh Here we go again

I think this is one of the things that's bothering Sept. It seems like her DIL has barred ONLY her from seeing her grandkids. Of course, there are other factors, but I just wanted to stress this point.

In the interest of bringing peace to this upsetting time for Tomi, I am going to lock this thread.
