Just keep in mind the old saying........what goes around comes around. I'm sure you've heard that a million times already though. It is even a bit difficult to get help with animal abuse issues near the city. It's so wonderful to know that there are other people in this world who will not give up punishing the evil people who do things like this. I think you are right when you describe him as a sociopath. And these types of people should be given absolutely no mercy. I bet he is one of those evils souls with no purpose of his own in this world. You seem like you are right on this, but don't let him wear you down. I'm sure that's how they operate......like parasites. I will definitely let you know if I come up with any good resources, ideas, etc. I'll also see if I can find anything on healing dogs who've been poisoned with antifreeze. This might be a little out there, but have you ever heard of Essiac Tea? It's supposed to be a cancer fighter, just about all purpose cure for almost everything. Look it up on the internet. Also can be called Ojibwa Tea. My cat was very sick with a respiratory virus, and I mixed it in her soft food for about a month. She is back to normal completely. I have more stories too about it, but I'll go on only if you want to know more.
I will pray for your dogs, and for this "man" to receive just what is coming to him.

Two dogs died from the poisoning. The others didn't get poisoned. Today, despite rain, mud, piles of doggie doo, we got the kennel up. We used 200 feet of 6 foot wire and metal posts. We used wire clips to attach the fence. They have a 6x6x4 high enclosure where I put shavings and lots of goodies. For tonight I have a tarp over the top as it started pouring and my body ran out of steam. My son and friend's kid helped. Tomorrow my friend will come and load his truck with the wooden fence for the bonfire and we will put a piece across the top for shelter and tie the tarp back down. That way when they want to be out in bad weather they will have a dry place. They didn't seem upset about it until I was on the other side.

I hope I sleep tonight. I took a shower and pain meds. I was the official post holder so I got mud and doggie doo in my hair and everywhere else. My babies can no go outside safely. Yeah!!!!

I'm with Rebecca...what goes around, does come around....but at the same time, I think you have a legal case that could truly hit your "neighbors" in their sociopathic purses....at least talk to a lawyer about this....since your dogs couldn't roam freely, the poison was placed within their access.....(deliberate or not)....your neighbor endangered them...(and what if a child had gotten into it?) Everyone knows that antifreeze is so very deadly to the innocent because it tastes sweet.....get this guy!

My babies are in and out CONSTANTLY!!!! They enjoy being out when it's nice. They have that rodent killing impulse. My oldest and only little girl just woke me up to go pee. NOT, she wanted to go out and get another chewey from the covered enclosure part. Glad we go the work done yesterday while it was warm, muddy, dog poop rich as there is now about 6 inches of snow on the ground. Thanks for your thoughts of kindness Sleeps. I can feel them.

ALSO, i JUST READ THE MAIL THAT THE KIDS BROUGHT IN AFTER i WENT TO BED AND i ONE MY UNEMPLOYMENT!!!!!!!! i AM ELIGIBLE FOR A PARTIAL WEEK DEC 17 AND FULL WEEKS FROM THAT TIME FOREWARD.

My heart goes out to you, hun. There is NOTHING that makes me more furious than people who abuse defenseless animals. I am a HUGE animal-lover. My pets are truly my babies!

I am so very proud of how you handled everything and your strength!! Just the other parts of the first day, not counting the poisoning, would have been exhausting for me.

I pray that this sociopath (and I have been unfortunate to know two such in my lifetime) is brought to justice...soon!

With my sincere sympathy and prayers,

P.S. GRATZ on getting the Unemployment!!!!

Oh, I feel such an intense need to get my spouse a doggie before he comes home tomorrow. It's like I am being driven! He loved his big guys to play with! Trying to rest better.

I am in charge of how I view the world. I can choose peace or I can choose hatefulness/war. I am wishing this man peace. Only a disturbed person would do this. I wish him a peaceful heart.

I have been mostly away as home computers went phooey. Mostly fine now.

To make something positive come from something so tragic and senseless we adopted two Katrina dogs last weekend. They are disturbed. One more then the other. The older one is so frightened and does not like to eat. Pees and poos in the house though we get her out and also walk her on a leash. She does the submissive pee thing. Yhese girls have been through HELL. Poor animals and lovely people who have been down there trapping and saving cats and dogs.

They will be great. We see changes already. I can afford a little more love and some spaying and shots, one way or another.

It is necessary for me to make positive tracks where I may. Peace to my neighbor, peace to me, and peace to all of you.

May we be peaceful may we be content and may we not suffer in our bodies or minds.

Hope all is well. I will be unable to catch up so I will start reading tomorrow.

Hey to everyone too.

It's terrible that your neighbour did such an awful thing to your dogs. I'm glad you've managed to cope with it and what's more, offer more love and kindness to other dogs in need of help.
