Hi there people I am new here and I have just been off of work because of medical conditions. I do have epilepsy and had brain surgery. I still get the odd seizure and have trouble with my memory. I do keep myself busy by volunteering. What do you people do to keep yourself busy when off work. Thanks Limeridge..

Hi and welcome!

I do crafts, take walks, write. On the net, I do research on my illness, what I can do to help myself about it, or just any kind of research really. And of course I come in here.

I hope that you feel better soon!

Hi, limeridge and welcome! Off of work need help

I've been off work since the end of September. Everyone is different due to their particular disorders and such. For me - Bipolar II - I tend to the depressive side mostly so I tend to be very lethargic. I read, watch TV, go online, play computer games, try to do housecleaning when I feel up to it, organize my photos.

I used to get out and go to the used bookstore, library, etc. but now pdoc has put me on driving restrictions so I can only drive in my immediate area. Off of work need help
