One of the things that i have a terrible time with is my fear of being chased, watched, hunted, and the being is always Satan...... Usually happens at night but has happened on many occassions during the day as well.... An intense feeling that he is behind me with an axe ready to torture me... When I open a door there is an intense feeling that he will be there when I open it and I have this vision of these giantic bloody red grueling hands reaching around the door trying to push his way in.... Writiing this I notice my heart is racing and my chest is tightening and I feell unsafe, like I should not be sharing this with anyone.... I have not ever told anyone of this before..... I want to know what it all represnets and means.... How does one begin decifer all this.... I know it is irrational , I am aware of that, but at the same time to me it feels so real! The pictures I see are so real in my mind.... I can't hang my feet of the edge of anything, I always have a concern in my mind when I go swimming that someone will pull me under.... The someone is always the devil....

Can anyone at all relate to any of this???? I know it sounds so crazy..... </font>

I get like that once in a while too. I'm not afraid of Satan, but I'm afraid that there is a burgler in the house. I get scared when I go down the basement all by myself.

I think we have to think rationally during these times, (or just run down the basement really fast).

Maybe something like cognitive behavioural therapy would help with the fear...

I use to get like this years back.... and what I can link the feeling of EVIL to is the inner battle for my own soul and mind that I was having over my mental illness and how it was trying to take my life away - one will always place an image with their feeling and SATAN is the ultimate EVIL.... that which haunts us from with in our own MIND.

i always have a dream a burgler is in the house too... and that im sleeping and i hear it come in and don't know how to hide without making sound. It feels so real..

Ive also had dreams that there is an evil force chasing me and my brothers.

<font color="purple">I havent yet been able to link it to anything specific, except fera of the unknown I guess, and fear of being hurt, and things like that. I have had this since very young but when it turned to being the devil I can not pin point.......... I am fully awake , these are not dreams. Happens whenever I open a door, or get out of a vehicle, or just general walking around..... I dont know..... I just want it to stop.... It is effecting my kids, b/c they know I am scared but dont know why or of what and they end up scared too..... </font>
