I had a really strong urge today to cut. It's been many years since I last had an urge of any kind so it was kind of a walk down memory lane for me to feel it. And it was scary but inviting.
I didn't act on it-not even seriously enough to grab something sharp. But the strong feeling was there and I'm a concerned about why I felt that again after so many years?
I forgot about that sensation in your body it brings on. It's almost like a numb tingly feeling. I completely forgot how justifiable it all seems in your mind as you're craving it. ::shudder::
Do you think I should be worried?

((((Jax)))))

Don't know what to tell you, I've not gone a long time without doing it but you shouldn't be worried as much as trying to figure out what could possibly be causing it this time. Usually there's a trigger involved, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant.

**Hugs** Please take care, and PM me if you need to alright?

Thanks Canders. ((((((Canders))))))
I have a feeling I know what it is but I didn't know it would make me feel that way again.

I agree with Canders. Something has triggered you and in order to maintain control you're going to need to figure out what it was and see how you can deal with the problem. If you can do that, or get help doing that, you will be well on your way. It's great that you were able to hold off long enough to stop and think about this! Good job!

Hi Rapunzel,
I was in a position of feeling utterly helpless today. I lost 3 clients and all 3 insist it was no reflection of my work but the last client who fired me I've worked for 8 years and it was so out of the blue.
No warning what so ever.
I know I'll recover financially. I'm like a cat who always lands on my feet, business wise.
But I'm not good with losing people whom I've learned to like and care about. I'm pretty sure that was it. I did not expect to feel it so strongly over a business client though. Really odd.

I'm thinking I have a separation disorder of some kind. I think I'm taking it too personally. It's a professional married couple and the woman needs a "wife" not just a housekeeper. She found a woman who can not only clean for her but go shopping, do her ironing and drop off the dry cleaning.
Well, rasberry on me. 8 years and this is the thanks I get?

Working for them for eight years, I can understand being attached to them. It must have been almost like you were part of the family, and then to lose that without even knowing it was coming. That would be very hard to deal with.
