Try to think of all the good things that you do for others. I know it isn't easy to do, but the more you do it, the better you will start to feel. Think of the things that you do have that are positive, too.

Take care.

I like to remind myself of how fortunate I am compared to other people. Do you have caring friends? A loving family? A place to live? Good food to eat? An education? Time to play?

A lot of people in other parts of the world do not have these things. We are very fortunate and should value the things that we do have and try not to concentrate on the things we don't have or on the problems we have.

I know this is much easier said than done.

Thanks for your replys, Yes I do beleve you people when you say think of others and look around at other parts of the world. That is why I volunteer which makes you feel good about yourself. As green leaves said about having a family friends well different for me. My family has changed so much they don't know me anymore. I have one good friend and she does change just like that. When I go to the gym people are great there nice people and it's nice to get in with other people. Same when I volunteer you feel great about yourself. You are right when you say leave things behind and go forward yes I beleve that. Thanks for your replys take care Lime....

WELCOME....

I feel better about myself.... from many years of positive talk to my MIND instead of the usual negative talk we hear most of the time, from our own lips and from that of others.

I have LEARNED to LOVE - - - - ME, no matter what.

LoVe,

Hi, limeridge...nice to meet you! Unhappy

How I get through my days depends on the day. Unhappy Most of all my faith sustains me and as an adjunct to that there are people in my church who reach out to me. My mother is my best friend and main support.

I love reading so a lot of the time I bury myself in a great book. Lately I've been watching TV shows or movies that make me laugh, remembering how Norman Cousins cured himself of an "incurable" disease by laughing.

I admire your volunteering. Reaching out to others is something I need to add more of in my life.
