Ok - tonight I am going out of my freaking mind.... I am now the only female in a house of three very testosterone driven males (ages: 40-21-16) and they are making life difficult for me to love them in - they are all male and very little female (lol) and with that they often lack sympathy or compassion at times, things that we (the female) needs to be balanced and to fell loved & cherished.

I cannot stand the way they nick pick at each other or how they react or talk to the ones they are supposed to love. This way of the male species is driving me the female insane with weary. While I know they do indeed love each other and me - I still hate being the only female in the house, left to fend for a need of peace and tranquility.

HELP! HELP!

LoVe,

That must be how my mom felt--four sons and a husband and no other females in the house.

Thanks BEN....
For understanding and not condemning - for I do truly love my husband and my two sons, it is just their raw maleness that gets to me at times - makes me want to scream and pull my hair out - bald before my time (lol).

Oh that feeling I know so well taught to me by my 21 year old son. Don't you feel like running away sometimes? I can say that it will get better. My 49 year old spouse is sensitive and compassionate.

Rhapsody, Hun... Speak your needs to these criters! Maybe they're not even aware of how rough they are?

I was lucky. Out of three sons, I only had one that thinks everything gets solved with force. The oldest, while he can get quite cutting with his words, is mostly soft spoken. My middle son has always been gentle. My youngest always got told "GENTLE DOWN!!" I don't think he ever learned, though. Needing to VENT - Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!

You have every right to ask for what you need, ok?!

I know how rough those guys can get. They are very different from women. I don't quite understand how men can "bond" like that, but they do.

Try to hang in there. I don't have any words of wisdom except hang in there!

lol.....I'm sooo sorry.....yeah that can be quite a situation for a lady to be in. But it could be worse....it could be all women!!.....meow.

lol.....Boys can drive you nuts, I think it's typical, I'd just let them know that you need a lottle compassion sometimes, maybe they will be understanding.

Good Luck,
Desirae
