Just checking in. I hope everyone's week has been as productive as you hoped it would be, or at least as productive as it needed to be.

I'm playing catch up today and will be this weekend as well, because my daughter begged to go swimsuit shopping yesterday (we're going to a water park in two weeks and she needs one). Unfortunately, we didn't find one to her liking. Other than that, the week has gone well.

Ugh. I hope everyone's doing better than I am today.

I'm getting difficult reports, and 10 jobs by one doctor that are supposed to come to me exclusively (doctor's STRICT instructions) went to someone else.

I'm still playing catch up and not doing a very good job of it. Kids go back to school tomorrow after a 4-1/2 day weekend, so I have to squeeze laundry in here somewhere. I'm sick of not having a dryer. The darn belt broke last year and the repair dude is creepy, even my mom thought so, so I either hang everything around the house on whatever I can find or take wet clothes to the laundromat.

I have to give up the computer to my daughter some time today so she can type up a science report that's already late.

I guess I should quit whining and just struggle through those hard reports. At least it pays better than not doing any work at all. No work done

As you said "I guess" - doesn't make it easier though!!!

I can always try and fly hubby over - he is a maintenance and electrical technician. He would have that dryer fixed in a jiffy. (We have a "dryer issue" a couple of months before we became "it"). And he isn't creepy. At least I don't think so!!!

I too, am trying darn hard to catch up and not really winning! Frustrated but ok - if that makes sense.

Hope all of our workday strugglers can get a good, fresh start this week. So far, so good on my end. I'm definitely looking forward to my early weekend. No work done

I have had a busy week and have kept up to date though have not caught up on a lot of back log. And I managed to get my office looking like an office in this last week. (That would mean moving the office furniture from outside the bathroom ... into the office) etc ..........

I still feel stressed and I still feel there is too much for one day - but I don't feel unhappy. I seem to be coping. I guess that is most important.

Re-reading my last post .. what on earth was I on about with the "dryer issue"? Didn't make sense to me must have been strange to you!!

Hi, Sabrina!

Just wanted to let you know that one of my former co-workers was from South Africa. He was on the pro-tennis circuit for some time, which brought him to America, then he went to college here, married an American girl and voila!

He was awesome, such a gentleman. His cubicle was next to mine and I loved to hear him talk on the phone. I said his accent sounded Australian and he quickly corrected me on that. Unfortunately (fortunately for him) he left the company about 8 months ago for another opportunity.

Just wanted to say hi to the second South African I've met. No work done

Returning you to your regularly scheduled thread. No work done

I appreciate the hijack!!!

I am so touched you remembered I am from SA.

My brother - a true South African - recently got his green card and is happily married tp an American gal he met aboard Mercy Ships. They are expecting there second child. So I truly appreciate about the gentleman you knew!!

I can only giggle at the accent thing. South African and Australian accents are sooo different.

I say HI right back to you!!!!

I enjoyed the diversion!!!
