Good Morning,
Does anyone read any of Dr. David Hawkins' book: Truth vs Falsehood or his current one, "Transcending the Levels of Consciousness"?

How about "What The Bleep?"?

Erin Bear,

I do mean the movie and for anyone who hasn't viewed it, I recommend it. I found it to be educational in how the mind puts thoughts and memories together. I used that information in my own healing process. It made so much sense - reality is nothing more than our perception of it. What a true statement. But, it went beyond that because it also dove into paradgms and how some things, at certain times in out lives, are just beyond out comprehension (sense of reality - paradym). It allowed me the patients I needed with myself to understand certain aspects of therapy.
Thanks for the response.

Congratulation Jennie on being a mommie! It is the best experience of my life!

Thank you for the link. I am familiar with the web site. Tell me, what was the single, most influencial thought that came from "What The Bleep?"
Mine was that some things, at a given time, are beyond our paradym and I needed to take information on faith until the time was right to incorporate it into my belief or sense of reality.

Thanks again for the link,
Songbird

Hi Songbird,

The movie was meaningful to me, too, and in fact my counselor recommended it to me! I found the scenes toward the end, with the main character in the bathroom, to also be very meaningful to me. I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone who hasn't seen it yet :-)

I also highly recommend it ......

Take care,
ErinBear

Hi September Mom,

To my knowledge, it is only in DVD. And I too had a hard time following it at first. I kept waiting for something to happen. But, as I kept watching it, I understood more and more and I get something knew everytime I see it.
Try the link that Jenn posted for more info. It really was a great movie.

ErinBear,
Funny, my psychologist also recommended it to me. I really liked the part about the paradigms. That helps me through so many stages of my therapy. I have Dissociative Identity Disorder and the thought that different alters have different paradigms keeps me from getting way too frustrated.
