Who am I?
I'm Ophelia  apparently that's not the answer. But what is then? I can't see any other context in which this question has an answer.... I can list all the traits/characteristics, positive and negative which make-up Ophelia. I can even list all the roles Ophelia plays... But that answers 'what are you?' . So who am I? Do you perhaps know? |

LOL, that's just it! I KN0W who and what I am, and nobody has ever succeeded in trying to make me into anyone or anything else, but when asked, especially in a therapeutic or philosophical context, I'm unable to articulate WHO exactly it is that I know me to be... I know without knowing any of the words... Idk, maybe I'm not confused at all. Maybe the question is straightforward, and the answer IS Ophelia afterall!

I think we're just Living beings whose main aim is too survive. As we grow up we're bombarded with many messages that fool us into loosing touch with our most basic instincts and lead us on a furtile journey of trying to find the "me" that we think will fit us into the illusion of separateness.

It tends to be an interesting question, because you can give many answers whilst barely limiting who you could be, e.g. sister, daughter, cousin, niece, friend...I reckon the "who are you?" thing is specifically what makes you you (but not "a soul". Whilst that is what makes you you, the detail is necessary lol. Oops, off-subject again...) So, like for Odysseus, he could be "Odysseus of Ithaca, son of Laius, blinder of the Cyclops" and you know precisely who he is - there is no-one else of these details. So perhaps it is not what you say, but the precise combination of what you say that is "who" you are. Does that make any sense whatsoever? (My friends often say I don't, LOL...)
