I have been crying every day this week, and sometimes over just a thought or a picture, or an old news article. I have cried more this week than i have in the 10 years before.

i can't even put together a sentence

i'm being a drama queen to get attention so you can reply to my thread ok?

I'm known to be attentive do you know why your tearducts are suddenly working overtime? Anything specific trigger it? I hate crying non-stop, my nose gets blocked and my eyes actually hurt!
Thanks for this!

nothing specific, practically anything can trigger it. your location for instance, reminds me of something, and that memory can make me depressed and sad and feel like crying.

(((Illegal))),

The last I heard you were in a psychward, am I correct? I think that you have just been wandering around so much psychologically lost that because you are "possibly" in a safer atmosphere and are getting attention, you are just finally releasing a lot of pent up frustration.

From what I have come to know about you, you have needs and you have not been able to figure out how to fill your needs on your own. And you have been ((trying))).

And you know what Illegal? This happens to a "lot" of people, so you are not alone.
But when we cannot seem to fill our own needs, it does lend to our feeling hopeless and useless as a person.

Some people get really angry and look for ways to take that anger out on others. They even play strange games and take up with making it a point to be deceptive in some way, while all the while thinking they are gaining something. Some people just hybernate and isolate themselves, feeling that they just can't function around others or that others will only hurt them somehow.

The bottom line is that when we finally get to a point where we cannot manage somehow, the answer is through reaching out and finding therapy. And it is always important to understand that "therapy" is not a quick fix. Therapy is something that we enter into to discuss our personal history and how that has effected us and our perceptions of others as well as ourselves. We slowly learn how to find the areas where we struggle and begin to learn new ways to slowly gain tools to interact with others better and gain more self esteem of our own.

Crying is ok toilet, you just need to let that out. Make a decision to be willing to learn how you can finally learn how to help yourself better (yes, I mean learn how to learn). It doesn't mean you are a failure. We all have our own ways to struggling and using tools to manage ourselve around others that may not be helpful to us at all. It is not about being ashamed, it is about recognizing our unique needs and that we CAN "learn" how to address these needs better.

I hope your stay in this psychward/facility brings you to the right kind of therapy that will help YOU learn how to better manage YOU.

Hello IT! Do I remember that you started a new med or am I confused? I know some of them didn't work the way they were supposed to on me. Actually none of them worked the way they were supposed to and I eventually gave up. Does your "i'm being a drama queen to get attention so you can reply to my thread ok? " statement mean this is a pretend thing? That's ok if that's what you mean. Either way I hope you are doing alright today. I'm having a leaky day. The past won't stay were it belongs and keeps contaminating the present. This causes resentment and hostility, no tears though. I ate a bunch of chocolate and now I am ok. I hope you can stop your leaking too. Hugs if you want 'em!

No it's not a pretend thing I was just in a bad mood last night when I wrote that and I couldn't put a sentence together and I was frustrated.

I am on a new med, and it's been over 3 weeks now that I've been on Cymbalta.

How long does it take a new med to build up in the bloodstream? Some of my meds really messed with my head. I hope you are doing alright.

Have you informed your pdoc that your AD isn't doing its job? A tweak may be in order. And btw, I didn't just mean the 4 weeks, I meant for as long as you want or need

Hope the med change will help. It's good that you are keeping on top of things.

I think it's all about being accepted by other people.

You know when I apply for a job there is usually something in the advertisement that emphasises a need for excellent communication skills. I am very shy so whenever I see this, I move on to the next ad.

I feel like it is the same with society. I cannot make friends because people require me to be socially adept and interesting and comfortable with certain social settings.

Which I am not.

This is why I think I fail.

Maybe you place unreasonable expectations upon yourself IT, and that is what causes you to 'fail'... Try setting the bar a bit lower for now, remember Rome wasn't built in a day. What I mean is, instead of aiming to be socially adept, aim for socially appropriate. Once you've kicked appropriate's butt, then you aim for adept. Idk, just putting it out there
