I hope your weekend is good. For some of you its a long weekend and some its just another weekend. For me its going so-so. Dad and I got mine couch and a neighbor's couch taken to the dump so I don't get a ticket. I got a visit from the code enforcement agency last week that said move the couch off your porch or get a fine...I chose to take that sucker to the dump. Of course the neighbor wasn't there to help out or give us the money like he said he would. I ended up having to kind of help dad if you call pushing on the couch while dad lifts it helping then I helped. You can bet that neighbor will be getting an earful from me tonight.

We are grilling out tonight so I'm excited. We have steaks and I'm getting the stuff for German Potato Salad and maybe a big green salad. I can't wait for supper tonight. Hopefully I'll be able to eat more than I did last night. Last night mom made this really good shrimp dish and I was only able to eat 3 bites and half of my roll. Gotta love this tiny stomach sometimes...I swear it has a mind of its own. Sometimes I can eat a lot and sometimes just a little. Oh well at least I'm still losing. I talked to my nutritionist and she told me not to worry about the scale moving as long as I'm still losing inches which I am. I like her.

Hi Janniebug -

Thank you for wishing us all well on this Memorial Day Weekend.

Not knowing the whole story, I would say "Bravo!" for getting the sofa off your porch and to the dump, no matter who paid for it. Our human nature and others' human nature just has the sad habit of letting us down.

Your dinner tonight sounds excellent. I can smell the steaks grilling from here!!!!

I'm glad you like your nutritionist, and she is being so supportive. Good for you taking this step to safeguard your health.

Hugs,

EJ

Happy Holiday everyone. Be safe out there. Don't forget your sober driver if you have anything to drink at those bbq's. Have a great summer.
