bright colors attract insects... especially reds and yellows (btw, so does eating bananas (sweetness?) and mint shuns flies.... even a stick of mint gum (not abc) on the picnic table helps... so much more!
Please research anything I suggest before believing...

Any shade of the red family from bright red to burgandy. I have loved red since I was a teen. There is burgandy in almost every room of my place. I love warm and earthy colors in the winter and brights in the summer.
When wear red I feel very attractive. It is a feel good color for me. Black or charcoal gray are my base colors. |

Well, you don't need to wear it!
 Have you seen the new Cadillacs? They have this new red that just screams at you... kinda like China Red. WOW! I want to bring that red into my front room somehow... Drapes? A place rug? I find I'm attracted to the darker reds like burgundy and oh, that Cadillac red!! Doesn't mean I'll wear it, though, unless I decide to join the Red Hat Society... or is it Purple? LOL I actually saw a woman at Wal Mart the other day wearing her hat. She looked good!   Yep! It was a red hat with purple trim! LOL How's that for luck? I closed out the forum and searched the Red Hat Society and was able to come back and edit my post! <font color=blue>"The winds of change continue rolling and they just carry me away."</font color=blue>

I see you already read my last post. I went looking for the poem about the Red Hat Society but couldn't find it. However, I did find Ruby.
I think the purpose is to clash. LOL If I remember right, the poem says that in her later years, the elderly woman is going to do as she pleases because she's never thought of herself before because of raising a family and such. My favorite color used to be blue. I liked it because it was the color of the summer sky, the lakes, the ocean and I was partial to blue eyes.
My favorite color now is black because that is the only time I have peace, when the lights are out, my eyes are closed and I can escape with sleep.
