I'm wondering if I've got it. What makes you ask?

You might like to checkout our sister community NeuroTalk. Once there, type pyroluria in "search".

here in New York this is an inherited medical disease of the blood where they produce too much of the blood chemical kryptopyrrole. though it does have some mental symptoms like depression, psychosis, anxiety, and sometimes anti depressents and anti psychotics can help with those mental symptoms, here where I live and work it is treated as a medical problem by medical doctors. along with treating the depression, psychosis symptoms treatment includes mega doses of vitamins, zinc and B6.

if you think you may have this a simple routine blood test by your medical doctor can diagnose it.
Thanks for this!

Pyroluria is a familial disorder which occurs with stress, where an above-average amount of a substance consisting of "kryptopyrroles" circulate in the body. The substance is harmless in itself, but high levels of these pyrrolles systemically bind with B6 and zinc, preventing the use of these essential nutrients in the brain and body. The root cause is the production of too much "kryptopyrrole" or "hemepyrrole" in the blood. A pyrrole is a chemical substance that is involved in the formation of heme, which makes blood red. Pyrroles bind with B6 and then with zinc, thus depleting these nutrients.
Pyroluria may occur along with other imbalances as seen in some subtypes of schizophrenia such as histapenia (low histamine), histadelia (high histamine), high copper levels or cerebral allergies. It is the primary imbalance for 20% of schizophrenics.

You have a lot of information over the internet.

it sounded like a non bogus thing, it does seem to make some sense. maybe there isn't enough research and info about it right now and that is why they said it was bogus.

for those who want more information about this they can research it under the names of lyme induced Autism, malvaria, kryptopyrroluria, pyrrole disorder, (it is called by many different diagnostic labels, there are also many videos on youtube by treatment providers in many different countries that discuss this problem and treatment options. and if you have access to medical encyclopedias it is also discussed under the categories of hemoglobin, iron deficiency, blood diseases, its even listed in high school and college medical chemistry text books that are used for college classes for preparing to become doctors and nurses.
