a friend passed

yet another death around me. a long time friend was killed night before last. we were just at his father in laws funeral at easter. you know I think we need to let the ones we care about know daily that we care. we are never assured of tomorrow. time quickly passes and in the twinkling of an eye life is gone. I feel so lost.

I wish I didn't understand, but between hubby and I we have lost five loved ones in the past two years, the last one a friend of over 30 years just a few months ago.. It is so hard and you are right.. I am so glad that each of them knew how I felt and I try with those around me. But geez you never know and I sure can't stay in touch daily with everyone I know..

That is so true, so very true. Besides the loss of family members, 911 changed things even more, with me.
From a sad experience(s) sometimes valuable things are learned, and I have found even strangers at shops,on the street, and other public places more friendly and eager to chat compared to the times before the tragedy of 911.
I am very sorry for you and his family of this terrible loss, I send y'all wishes and prayers for healing,love, and may good memories,good times help soften the harshness of losing someone dear.

Angie thank you so much. I just got back from his viewing. I am so heart broken. His wife is in pretty bad shape emotionally and I feel so helpless. Such a tragic thing to happen and he was only 54.
