im going to see AGAIN a nuerologist for several tests for memory loss. a few years ago, i had an EEG done, and an MRI. The EEG came up abnormal, but then when i got the MRI everything was fine and normal. heh, i find it strange.

im always forgetting everything, to what day of the week it is or the date, to what i for dinner the last night. its pretty bad...because i cant remember anything, and im only 16 years old which stinks. heh.

does anyone know about anything regards with any memory disorders?? im just curious, because im really going to flip if my tests come back normal again, supp from the last time.

any ideas????? thankss. :]

allergies. Don't laugh. Please see an ENT. Allegens can cause practically ANY disorder in the body. I won't go into mine, but while I was being treated the other lady would have HEART attacks due to an allergy to one item. At the same time two children were coming from MO for treatment because they were deaf...and it was due to allergies. Once the allergens were found...and taken care of... the children were no longer deaf.

I know for fact that certain allergens can cause memory problems. It's definitely worth checking into.

I hope it's something like that, rather than your brain. (((hugs)))

I know with DID there is memory loss...or at least memory lapses.

I don't know much about memory loss except that when I feel overloaded, I can't remember a lot of things. Even in school, when I would be cramming for tests & was going through finals, my stress would cause memory problems. I could remember what I was focusing on, but not much else.

I do agree with sky......allergies can do so many things to us that we can't even imagine. Then there are always side effects to meds that can cause all kinds of strange problems. I had a horrible problem that wasn't memory loss but is was symptoms exactly like having parkinsons. Allergies & side effects can really mess with our bodies & brains.

I know that many times, I have tests taken & everything shows up normal....but I know there is a problem. That is the most frustrating problem, but I hope that the tests don't show up anything with your brain......hopefully there is a much better reason for your problem. Hopefully your neurologist will be able to help you determine the cause....I know it is scarry to not remember things.....I remember for me, it felt like I was losing my mind.

Hope your Dr's can help you find the solution,
Debbie
