I recently posted a question about my car and I did recieve some helpful info, but now there's something very wrong with the transmission. The car is not shifting right, and still it's spitting and sputtering.....of course the rain is what contributed to that. I fear my car may be breaking down. If the car decides to not work then we will we screwed. My husband will not beable to get to work, and I will not beable to get to where I need to go. The car has been doing this ever since I went to Oak Hill to spend the day with my friend. I feel like I regret that day, feel guilty for running my car so hard because of my pathetic lonliness.

My husband is bringing the car home from lunch like he usually does and I'm going to go pay my water bill and go shopping at Wal Mart. I'm going to see how she's running. I hope hope hope I don't break down with my kids. That would be very bad because I'd have no one to come get me. I don't know if I should risk it, but I need to get diapers, wipes, and food badly.

Worried woried worried.

I hope your car doesn't need expensive repairs, but if it's the transmission, that's not good. My boyfriend just spend $2500 in car repairs. I underesand your stress. I hope your car lasts until you get your student loan.

Is there some reason why your man can't get those things on his way home??? Instead of extra trips, or is this your way out of the house? Thoughts and prayers are with you and let us know how its running...linda sending gentle hugs for the whole day long as long as you need them

Sometimes a transmission service works wonders. Also what works well with rain and gas etc. It is good to do the dry gas thing and a tune up. You can learn how to do these things yourself. I have and do and I hate cars.

Once again the car has passed it's tripping stage and seems back to normal. It's so weird how it happens. I seriously think it's the rain. Whoever said it was those wires in my other post in my car was right, but I was nervous because the transmission was also acting strange. Now they both are doing well. We have bought the new wires and plan on replacing them after I go to Pax tomorrow. Last time my husband did an auto repair in our vans carburetor he destroyed the van beyond repair. Quite a funny story we look back on. We were so broke that we were unable to buy a used carburetor, instead he tried to take it apart to fix the problem and totally screwed it up. It's funny.
