Argh! I got attacked by two horse flies while walking the dog.
I have two bites on one leg, one bite on the other leg, one on the top of my hand and one on my baby finger. My hand is swollen to the point it's hard to bend.  I don't react well to bug bites and they just love me. I must be a tasty morsel.

benedryl honey face benedryl or other antihistamine (includes vitamine C) DOWN THE HATCH !!! Put something ice them down, and something to draw the poison out. Mud, A slice of potato, Heck, I poured some benedryl on my bee stings, didn't hurt..... flies don't belong on flowers!

Yikes. The swelling won't go down in my hand.
I refuse to go to the ER for a bug bite and pay $$$$$ Off to the drug store to talk to the pharmicist.  I try not to kill bugs. I am known to help out those poor bugs who get flipped. I turn them back over. But a situation like this...ungrateful little %$#^%$@#

pet, i kill horseflies. i don't kill spiders, snakes, ants, bees...but horseflies.......yup.......since they draw blood on horses, i've always had it in for them. and when one got me, i went into full attack mode.........
i'm so sorry that you were bitten. i hope you're trotted (ha, ha) off to the pharmacy by now..... |

I hope you feel better soon.  I hate horse flies! Salem hates them too. He rolls in the mud so they will stay off him. Do you have any mud around?
