I don't know why, I don't know if it's mental health or what it is so I put it here.

It just hit me suddenly.
I likely posted this type of thing before in the past.

I feel fried, stone, out of it....
The thing is I really don't have a reason to feel this way.
All I was doing was sitting reading this book that is of interest to me (About a woman who endured bullying) and I had a bit of cherries and a little bit of coke (not the drug, pop).... I don't do drugs so I know that stoned feeling is not that ( besides meds that i'm perscribed to ).

I haven't had a drink in awhile - alcholic beverage, and I rarely do have one of those.

Feeling sickly, feeling bizzare, feeling strange, out of it, weird.

I don't know how else to discribe it.

Anyone get like this?

I wonder if it's SAD kicking in, it starts in September usually, but I doubt that's it because the weather has been nothing but hot and beautiful.

So what?
I have no idea... anyone?

It sounds like maybe you're being triggered.

Sometimes we know right away that we've been triggered and other times we just get that strange feeling that overcomes us and we go searching for something to explain the odd feeling.

With knowing that you've been a victim of so many things, including being terribly bullied, it makes me want to just give you a big hug!

Since I can't do it in person...I hope this helps!

Hang in there.

Great name BTW!
I think I know what you mean. I feel that way too when I'm being triggered. It might be a good idea to document the times you feel like that, to try and identify your triggers. Hope that helps. Take care of yourself!

I think Lexi is right. I think you're triggered. Better to not read the book.

I hope you feel better soon.

Hugs,

Jan

Thank you. i'm back- feeling~ odd

I never associated the book I was reading to me feeling that way.
I've felt it before but never thought it would be a trigger?

Is that what it is?

Weird, I've had it occur so many times and never thought of it like that.

Thank you- perhaps I'll try to remember to write it down.....

It's an inspiring book, it's about bullying yes, I've read books worse then this one and don't recall ever having the same expierence, or maybe I did I don't know, might have to pay more attention to it.

Thanks Jan...

Yes I get this way and when I look at what I am doing right before and during when I feel that way I can locate the trigger.

Since you noticed it while reading the book I'm thinking the trigger is something that has to do with the book. rereading the last few pages right before and during when you noticed the feeling might point you to the exact trigger.

Hang in there.

I am thinking more now that it was indeed a trigger.
If I try to think back to the times i've read up on abuse, ptsd, etc even other self-help books that I own I think that I have felt this way before while reading them...

Since I run a survivor site I should really pay attention to reading posts and information that is posted onto my sites to see if I get like that....

I agree with the others.. I think you are being triggerd..

do not read the book.

It could also be your deperssion acting up on you too.

I feel this way sometimes when I get too tired to cope with my own feelings..

Try to remeber to cope as best as you can ok.

if not talk to us we are here for you.
no matter what ..

Love to you (((((( sundance )))))))))))

Thanks Lady D.

I've already finished the book, and despite me feeling that way for that time it was a really wonderful book, very inspiring.

If that's what it was, a trigger at least now I know and can deal with it better without getting anxious...
