I am new here , actually new to online support groups. I thought I give that a try too, since I tried everything else to get help with my depression. My question is what do you do when you feel so bad that nothing and I mean nothing makes you feel better. I just want to cry, but I have cried for so many hours and that only made me feel worse and gave me a headache. Want someone to help me but don't think even that would help because no one understands the pain and suffering that I feel or they are tired of hearing about it. I don't know how to explain how I feel besides to say that I hurt so bad and am so sad that I just want to stop existing. I feel like running away from myself because the pain is all inside me but no matter where I go it goes with me.
Does this makes sense to anyone? any suggestions? Thanks in advance |

No one hear is tired of hearing about others problems... that's why they keep coming back to this site! Depression... mmmmmm. There is a forum where you can post about your feelings and stuff, or just write what comes to mind. No one here judges you because most of us are rowing the same boat. I also started online support about 2 months ago and after you get to know the people here and get settled in it's really great. Here you feel wanted and loved... your not just another patient! Whatever you write will make sense to someone here... lol. If you don't feel like writing you can also go to the social chat forum which is also quite nice. Hello hello Cheetos...you have come to the right place...everybody here is very caring...Yes I have deep depression also...May I ask if you are taking anything for it? Have you been to a doctor to talk about it? I am on meds and it is helping me alot...but some days are worse than others...anytime you want to chat pm me...and also there is a depression forum too...to write about anything you are feeling...welcome aboard!!!

Welcome, cheetos, and I hope you find here the support you need. It's a good place to start.
Another good place to start would be to go see a therapist. Yes, I sometimes feel the way you wrote here. And when I do I write in my journal. I try not to beat myself up for feeling this way. It helps to acknowledge the feelings and the reason I feel this way. Like riding a wave. And going with the flow. Easier said than done, I know. Hand in there! Take gentle care, |

Well done for having the courage to come here and confront your demons, it shows you are now ready to conquer your depression. i for one am glad to see you here. im looking forward to getting to know you and your life leading up to now. depression is ugly, and it is no doubt the hardest thing we endure through our lives. it consumes us, makes us ill (physically and mentally) and it takes an awful lot of time and strength to beat it. here we can almost share the strength and help eachother through this. the best way to fight depression is to open up and tell why you feel that way, it could be because of something that happened years ago, or is happeneing now. anything. by telling your story of what made you depressed will help a great deal as we will listen, and advise on what we think the best ways to deal with it are. it has helped me so much so far, long may it continue. i will pm you shortly to see how you are, and if you ever need anything, a friend or a chat etc, please feel free to pm me. im here anytime for you. once again, welcome to PC.
