I am having a hard time dealing with this so thought if I could tell you guys about it maybe it would help.
My dad has cancer. They did a biopsy of his mass in his colon on Monday and found out he has cancer. He goes in for surgery on the 27th to get rid of the mass. I am hoping this takes care of it. As much as me and my dad butt heads I love him dearly and need him so much right now. He is my rock and is so supportive of everything I do. He also is my payee and manages my money for me. I don't know how that whole thing goes and need to learn just in case but am scared to bring it up because I don't want to bring him down. I talked to my sister about it and she said not to bring up the finances right now just leave it on the back burner. Because I'm so scared to bring it up I think I will follow her advice and just leave it alone. I just need you guys to pray for him that this surgery will get rid of everything bad in his body and that he will be healed. I need him so bad that the thought of him dying is about to send me over the edge. Jbug

I just got off the phone with my mom and she said my dad broke down and cried this morning. He was sorry we had to go through this. My dad never cries so now this has me even more worried. I HATE THIS!!!!

Yes, I agree with your sister when it comes to putting the finances on the back burner because ultimately that is not what matters. I'm sure if he know things will not go well then he will leave you on the right path with that. I hope all goes well and the doctors and able to rid of all the cancer, and you're dad can just go with life normally. I'll keep him in my thoughts, and please don't worry your heart yet, things may go well and this may be looked back on like a scary moment in life.

I am so sorry to hear about your dad, my mom had cancer three years ago, so I know how you are feeling. I will pray for your dad to come through this, hang in there
