I couldn't think of what major I wanted because I was trapped between money, passion, and typical. I wanted something that accustomed to my life and what was better for my babies and me financially. At first I thought Pharmacy would be a good money making opportunity, and always in demand. But I took a gander at what Chemistry, Biology, and Science labs would be required, and I decided....uh no. I was always interested in Psychology.....but I'm first of all mad myself, it's popularity will eventually fade in the future and the demand will be shot. Plus everyone and their mama wants to be a psychologist...(no offence psych majors, I love ya!) Then after much debate and putting my true passion aside (somewhere under equestrian), I decided that ultimately (beside equestrian), I've wanted to work with chronic juvenile offenders and possibly create programs in institutions, or possibly open my own one day.

I still am treading water, but hey I figure I am 20 years old, young, and there is still time for me to decide what I will officially major. I'm just a baby freshmen anyway and requirements are what's important right now.

Anyway!....I'm talking my head off here

Yay Des,

Sounds like you have a lot of great ideas!!! Thats the first step in being successful. I could definetely use your help. Although I am a bit older than you (ok, old enough to be your mother), I still haven't found my "niche" yet.

As we said in the olden days ""Keep on Truckin""

Social work might be something to look into or human services. I suspect that social workers would work with chronic juvenile delinquets (gee, can't spell today).
